(DALLAS-FT. WORTH, TEXAS – McQ Media News) The Consumer Team’s initiative for 2017 will be using a new video platform to promote DFW business. “Go Local DFW”will be promoted on The Consumer Team’s flagship radio station, CBS Radio’s 1080 KRLD and a network of point-of-purchase video screens at DFW area convenience stores. Commenting on Go Local DFW, Consumer Team host Pete Thomson, said that the addition of point-of-purchase video is strategic. He said, “In addition to being anchored on the #1 news station in DFW, our video presence at North Texas convenience store outlets will bring a new and expanded coverage to the campaign.”
Thomson said the Go Local DFW video segments will be focused on introducing Consumer Team sponsors. He said, “We’re excited to have this opportunity to reach active consumers while they’re out and about. The video playback units are integrated right into the point-of-purchase at the pump and are beautiful. The video and audio quality are superb. Viewers will be captivated.” The Consumer Team Video Network will launch initially in approximately 40 North Texas locations with another 100 scheduled to be added in 2017. The Consumer Team videos will also be posted on all Consumer Team social media streams.
Go Local DFW, according to Thomson, will promote the advantages to doing business with local business owners. Thomson added, “Once consumers understand all the reasons to keep their dollars local, they’re normally much more motivated to be loyal to the home team. We’ll be highlighting these advantages through 2017 on The Consumer Team.”
The Consumer Team is broadcast Saturdays to 6-8 PM (Central) on 1080 KRLD in Dallas, Texas. The Consumer Team with Pete Thomson is produced by McQ Media, Dallas, Texas.
